Approval of Denmark Lane

Williams Gallagher has been working on behalf of Inside Land to secure planning permission for a development of 47 affordable homes at Denmark Lane in Diss, South Norfolk. On 30th August South Norfolk District Council's planning committee resolved unanimously to approve the development.

The scheme consists of 1,2 and 3 bedroom homes alongside open space and an equipped area of play.

During preparation of the application the emerging Neighbourhood Plan sought to significantly reduce the allocation. This was addressed through representations and a positive response from the Examiner who confirmed that there was no justification for such a reduction.

This strategic site was secured under an option agreement in 2021 and we are delighted to have helped deliver a full planning permission in such a short period of time.
