Commercial and logistics development covers a wide variety of uses including office, employment, hotels, retail and leisure.

Examples of past projects include:

  • Taking forward and helping to secure outline planning permission for British Land for a major mixed-use sustainable development comprising of an office campus of over 1 million sqft, 800 – 1,300 residential units, a hotel, retail and a neighbourhood centre in the River Don District adjacent to the Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield.

  • Helping to secure planning permission for Royal Mail Estates Ltd for the residential-led mixed use redevelopment of a former delivery office adjacent to East Croydon Station. Also, the redevelopment of a Royal Mail sorting office facility adjacent to Reading Train Station comprising a mixed use scheme including offices, homes, hotel and leisure in a phased development of up to 740,000 sqft.

Examples of current projects include:

  • Securing planning permission for flexible uses across numerous shopping centres and town centre premises. These permissions are highly valuable as they assist in facilitating the swift occupation of long term vacant units by a variety of different uses.

  • Advising on an industrial land portfolio based in the north west of England – currently working to secure planning permission for the refurbishment of a 350,000 sqft trading estate.

  • Delivering two apart-hotel schemes in central Birmingham – one involving the conversion of a listed building and the other a new tall building in a landmark location.

  • Ongoing advice to logistics firms across the East & West Midlands to deliver improvements to facilities.

  • Preparing for the submission of a planning application for a new 250 bed hotel on behalf of Associated British Foods.
