  • Advising ASDA Stores Ltd in connection with new stores and estate management activities.
  • Delivering planning permission and conservation area consent for the redevelopment of the Riverside Mall in Shrewsbury to create a new 500,000 sqft shopping centre in the heart of the town. The project was undertaken within a conservation area and the setting of over sixty listed buildings.

Examples of current projects include:

  • Acting as national planning advisor to Ellandi LLP, which has a portfolio of 34 community shopping centres across the UK.
  • Advisor to Realis Estates who is responsible for the redevelopment of the East/West Precinct in Stoke-on-Trent City Centre – now known as Unity Walk. This redevelopment project is to comprise 385,000 sqft of new town centre floor space.
  • Providing advice to Aberdeen Asset Management on a large town centre mixed use redevelopment project in the Midlands.
  • Advice to Tepbrook Properties and ASDA Stores Ltd in connection with a new food store and PRS apartment scheme in North London.

Our experience also extends to working with the public sector on retail and town centre matters including the preparation of retail studies and capacity assessments, inputting into town centre development frameworks and masterplans and providing advice on planning applications for retail development.
